Industry Focus
Equipment for the cosmetics industry.
From independent skincare labels to high-volume OEM/ODM factories supplying EU and North American markets — Kosmix engineers precision manufacturing equipment for every stage of your cosmetic production process.
What cosmetic factories face
These are the four process problems most commonly reported by cosmetic OEM/ODM manufacturers — and the reason equipment specification matters as much as formulation.
Batch inconsistency erodes brand trust
Without vacuum emulsification and precise temperature control, cream texture varies batch to batch — triggering returns, failed retail QC, and brand credibility loss.
Solved by: KLM / KVMProcess water quality fails ISO 22716
Unfiltered water contains chlorine, bacteria, and mineral ions that destabilise emulsions, shorten shelf life, and fail EU microbiological limits. Purified water is mandatory.
Solved by: KM-ROManual filling cannot meet export compliance
Hand-filling creates fill-weight inconsistency and contamination risk. US and EU buyers increasingly require documented ±0.5% fill accuracy in supplier audits.
Solved by: KFMMulti-vendor lines create integration failure points
Different PLCs, different service contacts, different spare parts. When one machine stops, the line stops. Single-source supply eliminates this risk entirely.
Solved by: Full Kosmix LineFive series. One complete line.
Every machine in the Kosmix cosmetic line shares a common PLC architecture, 316L stainless contact surfaces, and CIP-compatible pipework — engineered to operate as an integrated system.
Every cosmetic category covered.
Kosmix machinery handles the full range of cosmetic and personal care product formats — from aqueous serums to high-viscosity balms, from rinse-off cleansers to colour cosmetics.
Face Creams & Moisturisers
O/W and W/O emulsions, day creams, night creams, SPF bases, and anti-ageing actives. Vacuum processing ensures stable emulsions and air-free texture.
Serums & Essences
Low-viscosity actives — hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, peptide serums — requiring drip-free peristaltic filling into glass dropper and slim-neck bottles.
Lotions & Body Butter
High-volume pump bottle and tube filling for body lotions and butter formulas. Hot-fill option handles high-lipid, high-viscosity products above 70°C.
Shampoos & Conditioners
Surfactant-based and conditioning formulas. High-speed lines tuned for the mid-viscosity range of haircare. Pouch and bottle filling, screw capping, and labeling on one line.
Foundations & BB Creams
Pigment-loaded emulsions requiring high-shear homogenisation and tight temperature control to prevent separation. Fast CIP cycle between shade changeovers.
Gels & Hand Sanitisers
Carbomer gel and alcohol-based sanitiser production. Explosion-proof filling head option available for high-alcohol content (>70%) formulations. GMP-compliant environment.
From water to finished product.
The Kosmix integrated cosmetic line follows the natural production sequence — each machine feeds directly into the next, sized and synchronized to your batch rate.
Water Purification
Reverse osmosis + UV sterilisation produces GMP-grade process water at <10 μs/cm conductivity, compliant with ISO 22716 and EU Cosmetics Regulation.
Vacuum Emulsification
High-shear homogeniser under vacuum produces stable, air-free emulsions. PLC recipe storage for up to 99 formulas. CIP-ready 316L stainless vessel.
Automatic Filling
Servo-driven piston or peristaltic filling into bottles, jars, tubes, or pouches. ±0.5% fill accuracy, no-container no-fill detection, auto-reject.
Capping & Labeling
Torque-controlled rotary capping followed by self-adhesive labeling with ±0.5 mm precision. Vision QC system rejects non-conforming containers inline.
Viscosity compatibility — KLM / KVM series.
The KLM and KVM vacuum emulsifying mixers handle the full cosmetic viscosity spectrum. Reference the table below when specifying your equipment.
Equipment your auditors will approve.
Selling cosmetics into the EU, US, or UK means your manufacturing equipment must meet the same compliance bar as your formula. Kosmix machines are designed with regulatory requirements built in — not bolted on.
What's included in the CE documentation package
CE Declaration of Conformity, Technical Construction File, Risk Assessment, electrical and pneumatic schematics, EN 10204 3.1 material certificates for all 316L contact parts, and full Operations & Maintenance manual. IQ/OQ protocol templates provided for GMP validation.
GMP-aligned equipment design
No dead legs in pipework, mirror-polished contact surfaces (Ra ≤0.4 μm), CIP/SIP capability, and full traceability of contact-part materials — meeting ISO 22716 requirements throughout the production line.
EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) 1223/2009
Material traceability, mirror-finish contact surfaces, and GMP-aligned documentation support Article 8 manufacturing compliance for products sold in the European market.
US FDA 21 CFR Part 700–740
IQ/OQ documentation structured to support FDA cosmetic GMP inspections. The KM-RO system produces USP Purified Water quality for process water compliance.
ISO 22716 — Good Manufacturing Practice
Equipment design, CIP capability, and documentation structure align fully with ISO 22716 — the global GMP standard for cosmetics recognised by EU, FDA, and TGA.
CE Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
All Kosmix machines carry full CE declaration with technical file and risk assessment — legally required for installation and operation in EU, EEA, and UK markets.
What OEM factories report.
Direct feedback from cosmetic manufacturers running Kosmix production lines in Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region.
"After switching to the KLM emulsifier, batch-to-batch inconsistency dropped to near zero. Our QC team stopped flagging texture variance within the first month of production."
"The CE documentation for our KFM and KCM machines was exactly what our German retail buyer required for their supplier audit. Every certificate was ready before installation."
"We ran FAT with our own serum formula. The KFM achieved 0.3% fill deviation on 10 ml dropper bottles — better than our previous semi-automatic equipment. Line commissioning took four days."
